qualia is ideally suited to couple only, or very small wedding celebrations. To ensure the enjoyment of qualia for all guests, certain restrictions apply to group activities.
Tucked away in an exclusive precinct on Hamilton Island’s northern-most tip, qualia’s 60 private pavilions look onto the Coral Sea and the surrounding Whitsunday Islands.
qualia’s distinctive style combined with its sun-drenched location and intuitive service makes it a luxurious resort of world-class standards. It’s a truly special place where everything has been meticulously considered to relax the mind and completely spoil the senses.
Children
Children are not permitted to attend ceremonies or receptions at qualia.
Guests
All guests attending a wedding event at qualia must also be staying at qualia.

All decor choices are to be approved by the General Manager.
Reception Options
Pebble Beach Precinct
The Pebble Beach precinct features a “water’s edge” restaurant set beside an expansive waterfront pool, complete with cabanas and gym. It also provides two lawn areas, an upper and lower, at the front and side of the pool providing a stunning backdrop for a beach side dinner.
Private Dining Room
Perfectly situated within the Long Pavilion overlooking The Coral Sea, the Long Pavilion Private Dining Room offers stunning views of the Whitsunday’s, along with gentle sea breezes; The Long Pavilion Private Dining Room is the perfect venue for a small intimate wedding reception.
Long Pavilion
Perfectly situated, overlooking The Coral Sea, the Long Pavilion offers stunning views of the Whitsunday’s, along with gentle sea breezes.
Private use of any part of the Pebble Beach precinct is available as a dinner option for one night during the group’s stay. A set up/service fee is applicable for private functions.
All guests attending a wedding at qualia are required to stay at qualia for a minimum of two nights.
External guests (i.e. anyone who is not staying at qualia) are not permitted.
The maximum number of guests catered for is 8 guests (including the couple).
Themes or similar are not permitted unless by special prior arrangement.
Alternative or additional furniture is permitted as approved by the General Manager.
Other Luxury Reception Options
If qualia doesn’t suit the requirements of your wedding, book qualia as your accommodation and host your wedding reception at one of Hamilton Island’s other stunning luxury reception venues… we can even request for your wedding photos to be taken at qualia, if you choose to stay there on at least the night of your wedding.
